Disclaimers
What Klikka is, what it is not, and where our responsibility ends. We would rather put this on its own page than in small print, because operators buy software faster when they can see the boundary.

1. Regulatory statement
Klikka is software. It is not a travel agent or a tour operator.
Klikka does not sell, resell, book or take payment for flights, accommodation, car hire, transfers, activities or event tickets. It does not combine travel services into a package or a linked travel arrangement, it does not act as an intermediary between travellers and suppliers, and it does not hold client money for travel services.
Bookings that an organiser, an operator or a guest makes elsewhere may be recorded in Klikka so the group has one reference. Recording a booking is not making one. The contract for that travel is between the traveller, or the operator, and the supplier — never with us.
The practical consequences are worth stating plainly:
- Klikka is not a party to your trip and has no contractual relationship with your suppliers or your guests regarding travel.
- Klikka is not the organiser or retailer of a package, so the traveller protections in the EU Package Travel Directive, as implemented in Malta by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations, do not arise from our software. Where those protections apply to your trip they come from the business that sold the travel — often the operator using Klikka.
- Klikka provides no insolvency protection, no repatriation guarantee and no financial security for travel arrangements, because it takes no money for travel arrangements.
- Klikka is not a bank, payment institution, e-money issuer or escrow provider.
If you are an operator using Klikka, none of this changes your own obligations. You remain the organiser of your trips, with whatever licensing, insurance, insolvency protection and consumer-law duties that carries in your own country. Klikka does not discharge them and does not advise on them.
2. Licensing
Because CB DISTRIBUTION LIMITED does not sell or arrange travel services, it does not hold and is not required to hold a travel agency or tour operator licence from the Malta Tourism Authority, or an equivalent licence in any other country. We are a software vendor. If our activities ever changed such that a licence became necessary, we would obtain one before doing that activity and publish the number on this page.
3. Information about hotels, venues, suppliers and activities
Most of the content in a Klikka trip is typed in by people: an operator, a planner, a group organiser or a guest. Addresses, meeting points, telephone numbers, opening times, prices, dress codes, venue names, transfer arrangements, fixture details and supplier notes are their content, not ours.
We do not source, check, verify, endorse or warrant any of it. We do not confirm that a venue exists, that a booking has actually been made, that a price is current, that a coach will arrive, or that a supplier is licensed, insured or solvent. A status label in the app — Confirmed, Option or TBC — reflects what the person managing the trip has entered; it is their statement about their own arrangements, not a verification by us.
Where the app shows a place, a map link or an external website, that is a convenience. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or accuracy.
4. What travellers remain responsible for
If you are travelling on a trip run in Klikka, these remain yours to get right:
- Your travel documents. A valid passport or identity card, with enough validity remaining for your destination's rules, and any child's documents you are responsible for.
- Visas, entry permits and pre-travel authorisations. Including transit requirements, which depend on your nationality and your route, not on your destination alone.
- Travel insurance. Including medical cover, cancellation cover and cover for any activity you intend to do. Also any waiver a supplier requires.
- Health requirements. Vaccinations, medication rules and fitness to travel or to take part in an activity.
- Special permits. Firearms documentation for a shooting trip, including a European Firearms Pass and per-country transit permissions; equipment or licence requirements for a sport.
- Being where you need to be. Check-in, boarding, meeting points and coach departures. A reminder in the app is a convenience, not a guarantee that you were reminded.
Official government advice for your own nationality is the authority on entry rules. Nothing in Klikka replaces it.
5. Documents we hold but do not verify
Klikka's document collection exists so an organiser can see who has uploaded what, before departure. It is an administrative tool, nothing more.
Klikka does not verify documents. We do not check whether a passport is genuine, valid, unexpired or sufficient for a destination; whether a visa is required, correct or in date; whether an insurance certificate provides adequate cover; whether a consent form was signed by a person entitled to sign it; or whether a licence or permit is valid. A document marked as received means a file was uploaded, and nothing else.
The same applies to an operator's or organiser's own review. Klikka does not certify that anyone checked anything, and no completion indicator in the app should be read as a compliance sign-off. How documents are stored and shared is described in the privacy policy.
6. Money in a group
Where a group collects contributions in Klikka, funds move through a payment account belonging to the organiser or operator, held with our payment provider, and that account holder is responsible to the group for the underlying obligation. We do not hold, pool, safeguard or invest group money, we give no guarantee that a group will get its money back, and we take no responsibility for how an organiser spends what the group contributed. We are not providing financial, tax or accounting advice.
7. Information on this website
The descriptions, feature lists and prices on this website describe Klikka as it stands at the date of the version note above, in good faith. Klikka is early-stage software: features change, and screenshots or examples on this site are illustrations rather than promises about the software you will be given on a particular date. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, legal advice, regulatory advice or advice on your own licensing obligations. If a written statement in a signed order form conflicts with this website, the order form wins.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in this page limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to that, and as set out more fully in the terms of service, we are not liable for the travel itself, for a supplier's act or omission, for a trip that is cancelled, delayed or disrupted, for a traveller refused boarding or entry, for a missing or inadequate document, for the accuracy of information entered by an operator, organiser or guest, or for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings. Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us for the service in that period, or €100 where you paid us nothing.
9. Law, complaints and contact
This page is governed by the laws of Malta and the courts of Malta have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to a consumer's right to rely on the mandatory law of their own EU country of residence.
If you think we have got something wrong, tell us: cb@cbdistributionltd.com. We acknowledge within five working days and answer substantively within 30 days. If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve it, you may take it to the Office for Consumer Affairs at the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority, or to a competent consumer dispute body in your own country. Data protection complaints can go to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta — the route is in the privacy policy. Complaints about a trip, a supplier or travel money should go to the business that sold you the travel, because that is not us.
